Scovell Wolfe and Associates, Inc. is a full service residential remodeling company.
Organized in 1989 by Jim Scovell and John Wolfe the company originally began as speculative remodelers, buying homes in the Mission Hills and Sunset Hills areas of Kansas City which were in serious need of updating and repair.
After successfully restoring more than nine unique homes we could no longer resist the constant requests by the public to remodel their own homes, so in 1994 the company began remodeling for others.
Since that time we have gone on to remodel more than 150 individual homes constructing projects worth in excess of 26.5 million dollars. Our home gallery highlights a small fraction of the work we have completed during this period.
Today our company is organized in such a way that we are capable of producing several projects simultaneously while still paying close attention to all the details of each individual job.
Our office facilities, which are located at the corner of 81st street and Ward Parkway Plaza, means that we are centrally located in the Kansas City market and usually only a 5 or 10 minute drive to your home. Our facilities also contain nearly 3,000 square feet of conditioned storage space meaning that we can store your new materials until we are ready to install them at your home.
Our current staff includes some of the most talented people in the industry. We are organized and kept in check by our office manager, Lorie Holt, who has many, many years of experience in office management. Moreover, we employ three incredible project managers, Noal Yungeberg, Pat Muller and Hugh King, all of whom are capable of precision estimating and production management. And of course you always have the support and overall supervision of the co-founders: Jim Scovell and John Wolfe.
Complimenting the office personnel is a field staff of over 14 skilled craftsmen including framing carpenters, finish carpenters, on-staff painters and utility craftsmen with knowledge in all facets of residential construction.
Once you have contracted with Scovell Wolfe & Associates you will be assigned a production manager as well as a lead carpenter. This management team is your first line of communication concerning the production of your home remodel. This approach to remodeling leaves you with a high degree of confidence in the performance of the work and many levels of communicating your needs. At Scovell Wolfe we understand that for most people their home is their single greatest asset. Consequently, we go out of our way to see to it that your home is treated as such.
