Senior Production Manager
Pat joined Scovell/Wolfe & Associates in 1999 as a senior “Lead Carpenter” with the responsibilities of overseeing the progress of specific projects for which he was assigned.
He is a highly skilled carpenter with experience in all facets of residential remodeling with 27 years experience in the industry, including owning his own company for more than five years in the mid 1980’s.
Within the first year at Scovell/Wolfe, Pat had proven himself worthy of a promotion to “Senior Production Manager”. He now serves as one of three production managers at the company. His responsibilities focus on overseeing and managing multiple remodeling projects as well as estimating the costs associated with them. These projects range in size from small bathroom remodels to whole house renovations and room additions.
Pat is also considered Scovell/Wolfe’s “High-Rise” remodeling expert, as he has personally overseen numerous remodeling jobs in the Country Club Plaza area high rise buildings. In the Alameda Towers (one of Kansas City’s premier condominium high rises) Pat’s hard work resulted in the company being recognized as the Kansas City Homes and Gardens, 2003 “Gold Award” winner for a “whole House” remodel.
In 2006, Pat was the production manager of a Mission Hills, Kansas whole house remodel which earned the company a 1st Place award for a “Whole House Remodel” in the NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) Contractor of the Year (CotY) contest for the North Central Region of the United States which includes such cities as St. Louis, Omaha, Wichita, Des Moines, and Minneapolis.
He holds the company’s license certification for Kansas City, Missouri and in 2006 he earned the status of “Certified Remodeler” or CR, sponsored by NARI. Pat also has NARI’s “Green Certified Professional” designation. Pat also already holds the CAPS or “Certified Aging in Place” designation from the Home Builders Association. This last designation gives Pat a unique ability to understand the needs of persons getting up in years but not wanting to leave the home they have loved and lived in for so many years. As a result of this designation, Pat’s knowledge affords him the opportunity to visit with our older clients and can thus help them develop a plan that allows them to modify their own home in order to remain there safely and securely.
On a personal side, Pat has been very involved with Boy Scouts of America for more than 11 years as his son earned his Eagle Scout. He regularly participates in “Christmas in October”, volunteers his free time to Habitat for Humanity and has served on a number of committees in his parish.
He has been happily married to his wife, Gibrette, for 28 years and they are the parents of four children and two grandchildren. His son Patrick is a member of the Scovell/Wolfe team as an apprentice carpenter and plans on making a career in residential remodeling following in his father’s footsteps.
